Kara graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 2014, and she attended UCLA for her undergraduate degree in English and Spanish. Kara has been a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist since 2018. After receiving her law degree, she worked at the US Department of Labor Employee Benefits Security Administration where she conducted civil and criminal investigations of ERISA plans and was a special assistant to the Director of the Office of Enforcement. She has also practiced law for legal services groups in Massachusetts and California involving employment and business law matters. Kara joined MSH in October 2019 and practices labor and employment law with an emphasis in ERISA and Employee Benefits.
