A California court granted the Monterey/Santa Cruz Counties Building & Construction Trades Council summary judgment on its claims that workers redeveloping the former Fort Ord on the Monterey Peninsula must be paid at prevailing wage rates. The judge’s ruling covers some $800 million in current and proposed commercial and residential construction work on the former military base.
